Fiberwood Linear Bar Diffuser

Fiberwood Linear Bar Diffuser (common: Fiberwood Linear Bar Diffuser) is one of the most widely used air outlets in air conditioning or exhaust systems. The ELD series is an air outlet made of environmentally friendly wood and fiber. The material thickness is 3-4 mm thicker than aluminum, so it performs better in places with serious dripping. It has the same continuous streamlined appearance as the aluminum wire nozzle.

Border Calculation Formula

    20mm B-26mm B-15mm B-20mm 28mm
    25mm B-38mm B-30mm B-35mm 28mm
    32mm B-50mm B-42mm B-47mm 28mm
    • B = Base Size (Meter)
    • Assuming a 25mm edge is chosen, the face value is 150mm.
    • Neck gauge = 112mm
    • Ceiling height = 120mm
    • Air vent hole = 115mm

Edge trim and size formula (recommended for opening)

    • 16mm edge = meter length - 18mm = inner neck measurement (hole opening = meter length - 10mm)
    • 12mm edge = meter reading - 10mm = inner neck measurement (hole = meter reading - 5mm)

Vent neck height (ceiling depth allowance)

High neck of the air blower

    • For thinner neck frames: 28mm neck height. If the frame is too wide, a 30mm neck height is needed to reinforce it by adding a back bone.
    • 20mm side: 28mm neck height. If it is too wide, a 30mm neck height is required to make the back flat and stiffer.
    • 25mm side: 28mm neck height. If it is too wide, a 30mm neck height is required to make the back flat and stiffer.
    • 32mm edge: 28mm or 50mm neck height; if too wide, add a back round support for stiffness.
    • The thinnest of these can be made with a neck height of 25mm, but there are no areas treated with additional stiffening.

TEST CERTIFICATION

    • ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70-06 "Method of Testing the Performance of Air Outlets and Air Inlets"
    • BS 476-6: Fire tests on building materials and structures- Part 6: Method of test for fire propagation for products.
    • BS 476-7: Fire tests on building materials and structures-Part 7 method of test to determine the classification of the surface spread of flame of products.
